Snapshot Inspection. Free for Fulvia, Flavia, Flaminia.

No obligations.

If you’re new to the Lancia world—or even if you’ve owned one for a while—you may not have experienced how a Lancia is truly meant to drive, brake, and steer. Feel free to schedule an appointment for what we call a snapshot inspection. This is an inspection including a test drive, lasting up to one hour. The snapshot inspection is free of charge for every Fulvia, Flavia, or Flaminia visiting for the first time. It’s completely non-binding. There is no obligation to have any potential issues repaired by Casa Lancia. You can take care of them yourself, elsewhere, or do a combination.

All Flavia's, Flaminia's and Fulvia's, are over 50 years old. Due to their high build quality, many are still running after decades of deferred maintenance. But age is age. And that applies to many components. The suspension and springs contain several dozen rubber parts. These are no longer in good condition—and that can be dangerous. Driveshafts can break. You could veer off the road when braking suddenly or swerving. That has happened to me more than once during a test drive. In fact, one time, the steering wheel even broke. A calamity is almost always the sum of several minor defects, each of which could have been managed individually. And that’s something you really want to avoid.

To be continued tomorrow.
