Carburetors
At Casa Lancia we offer:
Carburetor adjustment. This is almost always combined with ignition adjustment.
Carburetor cleaning. The carburetors are disassembled and cleaned. Cleaning is done in a special ultrasonic cleaner with a special cleaning fluid. This can be followed by blasting with glass beads or soda. Reassembly and mounting with new gaskets. Flanges are skimmed. The accelerator pumps are adjusted. The carburetors are E10-compatible.
Overhaul. After cleaning and skimming, worn parts (such as the butterfly valves and accelerator pumps) are replaced or repaired. In most cases, while cleaning the work changes into an overhaul unless the car has very few kilometers on it.
Restoration. The carburetors are restored to new or better than new condition. Screws and brackets are re-galvanized or replaced, usually with stainless steel parts. Air leaks are accurately measured and brought well within spec. The spindles are also fitted with washers to reduce future wear. This can take several months which is usually not a problem during a car restoration or engine overhaul. Casa Lancia can also provide loaner carburetors.

Sometimes it's no longer possible to overhaul or restore a carburetor. This is common with 1600 Fulvia engines. If the car has been restored and serviced by us, and the engine has been overhauled by us, we can usually provide a replacement carburetor.
The fuel hoses are replaced with E10 ethanol-resistant hoses.
Please note: If the original hoses are still in place, they are not lead-free resistant. Replace them promptly.
New fuel pumps have some problems, such as significantly fluctuating fuel pressure and oil leaks. Casa Lancia modifies the fuel pump and uses a special Viton gasket. We often also install a pressure regulator.
